Jelly Mousse

Updated: Oct 22, 2019

Have you ever been at a loss for making a quick dessert and time is of the essence. This is one of the recipes that I used on times like these and anytime really, they are just so refreshing and delicious.

Christmas Jelly Mouse Dessert

Here's a very easy one to make with just three ingredients or four if you want whipped cream on top.

These are great for Valentine's Day or for any day really. I hope you give them a try.

Ingredients:

1 pkg of Jell-0 Strawberry flavor (6oz)

2 cups of boiling water

1 can of Evaporated Milk (12oz)

Topping Optional: Marshmallow stars (or whipped cream, small marshmallows, strawberries)

Instructions:

Dissolve the Jell-o in the boiling water and stir until all the sugar crystals have dissolved. Set aside to cool but not to set. Stir every once in a while.

.

NOTE: wait until jello is cooled enough before proceeding.

.

Place evaporated milk into a large bowl (It fluffs up a lot) and mix it with electric mixer for 4 minutes. Then add the cooled jell-o into the evaporated milk creating a jelly mouse.

.

Place the Jelly Mouse unto serving glasses and place them in the refrigerator until set. About 30 to 90 minutes.

.

Decorate the Jelly Mouse as desired. I added these star marshmallows that I purchased at Target but whipped cream or strawberries work great too.

.

For an added bonus, pair them with this delicious Rossini Strawberry & Raspberry Secco, purchased at Trader Joe's.

.

Have a wonderful Valentine's Day and I hope you give these a try.

.
